Camino Adventure

Following our Creative Path to the End of the World... A Nomadic Walking Retreat & Spiritual Detox.

What will it involve?

This will be an adventure combining nature, people, creativity, guidance, yoga, meditation, positive affirmations, spontaneity, improvisation, artist's way training and playing, coastal sunsets and 100km of walking!

Expect the unexpected on this powerful journey.

Perhaps you will be inspired to write a book, or to paint, or to take beautiful photographs. Perhaps this experience will simply clear your mind and allow you to see things in a new light.

You will have two dedicated adventure maidens to support you on and after the journey. We will be using visioning techniques, yoga and movement, as well as parts of the Artists Way course to help you realise and achieve your creative human potential.

Route Outline:

Day 1 : Santiago de Compostella

Arrival, meet and greet with intros and welcome meal in the evening.

Day 2 : To Negreira 22km

You will start your walk out of Santiago de Compostela from the Plaza del Obradoiro early morning. Along today’s section of the Camino you will pass through eucalyptus forests, small villages and cross ancient Roman bridges. Your destination for today is Negreira, which is a medieval town. You will have time in the late afternoon to reflect and see some of the town should you wish.

Day 3 : To Olveiroa 33km

The Camino passes along the side of a mountain crossing the river Barcala. Cimbing the Monte Aro, there is a good view of Ferenza’s dam before you enter the wild Serra de Castelo and the Xallas valley. Small hills, green pastures and stone villages await.

Day 4 : Cee 19km

From Olveiroa the track follows the river Logosa and passes the hermitage if Nosa Senore. After this the trail moves downhill through pine groves. From here you will catch the first glimpse of the sea.

Day 5 : Finisterre 16km

The final day of your walk will see you travel along a beautiful path, which hugs the cliffs and coves the coast. Your final destination is Cape Fisterra where you will see the sunset at the lighthouse at the end of the world.

Day 6 : Reflection

You will have a free morning/evening for reflection and to go off alone if you wish. Dependant on the weather we will meet at the beach or indoors for a group guidance.

Day 7 : Back to Santiago by Bus

A Final day in Santiago, visiting the Cathedral and saying goodbye.

Note: all days will include some Visioning, Mentoring, Stretching, Walking, Creative Projects and Artist's Way Tuition. For more info download the PDF at the top of this page.
